We have a highly qualified and experienced nursing team here to provide you with various vaccination services.
We practice in accordance with the WA Immunisation Schedule to provide government funded vaccination services across all eligible age and population groups. During these consultations, we focus on detailed and informed consent and open conversation with parents about their recommendations and concerns.
We provide a supportive and encouraging environment for new parents as they attend for their first vaccination visit for their new baby. We understand that this can be a difficult process and that additional support is sometimes required. Our nurses love baby cuddles and can assist in this process if required.
We can also provide catch up schedules for patients who have missed vaccinations or who have moved from overseas to Australia.
For patients requiring vaccinations outside of this schedule, our reception team can assist you in coordinating a GP and Nurse appointment to discuss your individual needs. Our nursing team can then provide the appropriate vaccinations for you.
While international travel is not a regular occurrence at the moment, we are a recognized Travel Clinic Australia (TCA) Clinic. Our travel medicine specialised GPs can discuss your travel vaccinations needs and our nurses can provide these vaccinations to you.
Annually, we offer influenza vaccinations to our local population. We can provide these services at the practice and in the format of large outdoor clinics. We also provide workplace based clinics for influenza vaccination which are coordinated through our Industrial Health Department.
Vaccinations are available from the practice without you requiring pharmacy visits, ordering and additional visits.
How to book:
If you are in the age group to receive a vaccination under the National Immunisation program you will just need to make a booking with the nurses in the treatment room.
If you are outside of this age group you will need to make an appointment with a GP to discuss your needs, receive a prescription and a later appointment made with the nurses to give that vaccination.
