Dietetics and Nutrition

What is a Dietitian?

A Dietitian is a tertiary qualified nutrition professional, who is an expert in all aspects of diet and nutrition, and is recognised as such by the Australian Government and Medicare.

We use our nutrition knowledge to provide individual dietary advice and counselling to people, to help prevent and/or treat diet-related diseases. Dietitians have knowledge of the most up-to-date dietary interventions to help those with medical conditions.
